1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Pixel Art Base, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Pixel Art Base provides a browser-based image converter that lets you transform images into pixel art and download the result. The service is currently provided without an account and without charge.
Image conversion normally happens locally in your browser. We do not promise that every file, browser or device will be compatible.
3. Your images and output
You retain any rights you already hold in the images you use. We do not claim ownership of your source image or generated output.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to use, modify and export an image. Converting an image does not remove copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights or other third-party rights that may apply to the source or output.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Violate applicable law or another person’s rights.
- Upload or process content you are not permitted to use.
- Interfere with, overload, probe or circumvent the security of the website.
- Use automated requests in a way that disrupts the service.
- Misrepresent an affiliation with Pixel Art Base.
5. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, or that a conversion will meet a particular creative or technical requirement.
6. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixel Art Base will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for claims relating to the free service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service during the previous 12 months or USD 10.
These limits do not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service changes. The date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
